Laura Borneman Laura was born in Buffalo, New York. She completed a BA in English & BFA in Painting at Buffalo State College, as well as a Masters in Education at the University of Buffalo. She completed an MA in Painting at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI and a post-graduate Certificate in Painting at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia, PA. Laura taught part-time at Philadelphia University and the Fleisher Art Memorial before moving to Bakersfield. She began full-time at BC in January of 2009. |

David Koeth Born in Warren, Ohio, David has a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Akron, and an MFA in Graphic Design from California State University, Fullerton. David has taught in the digital arts program at Bakersfield College since Fall semester 2002. His current personal work involves recycled materials and graphic design. (davidkoeth.com) |

Emily Maddigan Emily was born in Detroit, Michigan. She received BA in Art from Michigan State University, and an MFA in Ceramics from California State University, Long Beach. She began teaching ceramics as a full-time professor at Bakersfield College in Fall 2009. She focuses on ceramic sculpture in her personal work. |

Nancy Magner Nancy Magner grew up in Memphis, Tennessee and attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, the University of Naples [Italy], and finally CSUB, where she received her B.A. in Art History and M.A. in History with an emphasis in Art. Her area of concentration is the Italian Renaissance with a minor in Medieval Russian Art. She is a former museum curator who studied at the Getty Institute and the Smithsonian. |

Adel Shafik Born in Cairo, Egypt, Adel graduated from Helwan University with a bachelor's degree in Cinematography and Telecommunications. He went on to earn an MFA in Graphic Design from Indiana University. He has worked full-time at Bakersfield College since 2003. His personal work is primarily graphic design based. |

Kristopher Stallworth Kristopher was born in Charlotte, North Carolina and grew up in Linz, Austria before returning to the US to attend high school in Lawrence, Kansas. He has a BA in Photography from Southern Illinois University Carbondale; and a MFA in Photography from the University of Memphis.
