On October 13, 2007, professors Kristopher Stallworth and David Koeth worked with five Bakersfield College art students to create a three minute film for Apple Computer's "Insomnia Film Festival."

The reason for the name: participants are required to write the script, cast the actors, choose sets and props, film, edit, choose sound effects, and upload in 24 hours. Our production started at 6 am Saturday morning, and ended 4:30 am Sunday morning.

Team "Valley Fever" led by Marvin Linares, produced the comedy "Fortunate People," which chronicles the daydreams of two ordinary guys, as they consider how to obtain fortune.

Now it is time for choosing a winner among the many entries. You can help. You can vote for our film.
