One of the most exciting events at BC in 2002 was the annual homecoming contest for HC King and Queen. For the first time in BC's history--thanks to the dedicated efforts of the BC Deaf Renegades--Deaf students Mario Grijalva and Stacy Segeberg were elected homecoming king and queen. BC was founded in 1913 and BC's first student Deaf Club was founded in 1973.
