I'm Mary Halberg, Program Manager at Bakersfield College, for the Foster and Kinship Care Program, the Independent Living Program, the Early Childhood Mentor Program, and the Child Development Training Consortium. Foster & Kinship Care Program - Assists foster and kinship care providers with essential education and skills needed for parenting troubled and at-risk children.

Independent Living Program - Provides youth, who are in or are leaving foster care, with education and skills to become self-sufficient.

California Early Childhood Mentor Program - Provides education and training for child care professionals wishing to become mentors and assists in matching students with mentors.

Child Development Training Consortium - A statewide program that provides financial and other assistance to child care professionals.
