Biology 11: Concepts of BiologyBiology 11 is a non-majors introductory course that applies biological concepts to issues of everyday life. Topics include the scientific method, ecosystems and energy flow, organization, structure, function, behavior and evolution of organisms, inheritance, disease, and ethics. This course also includes instruction in critical thinking and logical analyses of ideas and scientific principles, how to think instead of memorize, and how to apply what is learned.
