Careers in this pathway of study are related to the performing, visual, literary and media arts. These may include creative or technical writing, illustrating, graphic designing, publishing, theater arts, journalism, education, languages, radio and television broadcasting, photography, advertising and public relations. BC Programs - Fine ArtsDigital ArtsThe program is designed to prepare students for entry level positions in various graphic art fields such as advertising, graphic design, illustration, and digital imaging. The core learned disciplines are the principles of design, an understanding of the visual elements, exposure to art and design history, conceptual visual problem solving, and the production of a graphic portfolio using established computer graphic software. The one-year program is dependent upon scheduling of classes. Students desiring further training may continue toward an Associates Degree or transfer to a four-year institution.
