New students All new students must complete the
New Student Online
Counseling Workshop
or attend a New Student Counseling Group
Workshop in person. Call 395-4421 to make an appointment for the face-to-face 2-hour
group workshop.
Workshop seating is limited. Therefore, family and friends are not allowed.
No children are allowed. New Student Counseling Group Workshops fill up quickly, particularly during
peak registration periods. Check in 15 minutes prior to the start of the
workshop.
Continuing students
Continuing or returning students may visit a drop-in counselor or advisor.
Drop-ins are available every day on a first come, first served basis. In
order to maximize your chances of being seen during peak registration
periods, it is recommended that you come to the Counseling Center where the
doors open at 7:30 am.
Transfer Students
Transferring students refer to the
Transfer
Services website. To be cleared for a course prerequisite, please bring an
official or unofficial college transcript.
Online Advising is
not available at this time.
Online advising is designed for short
questions only. Generally, responses are returned M-Th,
except during peak registration periods.
Online advising does not take the place of a counseling session. If you need to see a counselor, drop by or call the counseling department
at (661) 395-4421.
