(Workshops are required for all new students). The New Student
Counseling Workshops are conducted Monday through Thursday from 3:00 -
5:00 pm on campus at Bakersfield College. Be sure to contact counseling
for an appointment and to confirm dates and times. If you need

3.5 GPA or higher in grades 9-12 must be verified by official transcript.
Eligible students will receive priority registration and will be
awarded an honorarium.

The matriculation steps above must be completed (application, orientation,
