BC COUNSELING - High School Seniors

  • Steps for High School Seniors entering Bakersfield College:
    • Application - Online
    • Orientation - Online or in person
    • Assessment - Drop in at the Finlinson Center (See map of FCC building - PDF format)
    • Counseling -  Attend the New Student Counseling Workshop by Appointment - (Workshops are required for all new students). The New Student Counseling Workshops are conducted Monday through Thursday from 3:00 - 5:00 pm on campus at Bakersfield College. Be sure to contact counseling for an appointment and to confirm dates and times. If you need accommodations, please call 395-4334.

BC Counseling - Concurrent High School Students (Students under 18 years of age who are not graduating from high school this semester)
  • Steps for Concurrent Enrollment Students entering Bakersfield College:  
    • The Concurrent Enrollment form is available at your high school counseling office or at Admissions and Records at Bakersfield College.
    • The matriculation steps above must be completed (application, orientation, assessment, and counseling) prior to registration. Click here for 1st Time Concurrent Enrollment Procedures.
    • Registration for Concurrent High School students begins one week after Open Registration during the week of May 5, 2010, after 8:00 am.
