• Learn the concepts of validity, soundness, strength and cogency. Be able to apply these terms. (This includes terms like valid/invalid  strong/weak.
• Remember that when determining validity or strength, the truth values of the statements in the argument are not relevant.
  An argument with false premises can still be valid.
• Remember only statements are true or false. Arguments are either valid/invalid or strong/weak.
• Be sure to do the assigned homework and reading!
