ARIS Instructions-Read Carefully

You must have a Passkey to get into the ARIS homework page.  The Bookstore has separate passkeys available at the office window in the bookstore.  You may be able to order a passkey online by clicking on the red ARIS above and clicking on "Register now I am a Student" below the logon box.  The passkey code is good up to 2 years and can be reused in case you repeat the class.

Then you must register for the class online.  Instructions can be found by clicking here.  You must use the section code 99F-6C-49D for the Fall 2010 semester.  Do NOT use the BC course number or CRN for the section code when registering.

You have two tries for the first homework assignment but only one try for the others.  You can stop anytime during the assignment and ARIS will save your work.  You can come in later and pick up where you left off.  However, you must press SUBMIT at the end of the assignment in order to receive credit.  Once you ask for a solution, you cannot repeat a problem and once you submit your assignment you cannot repeat it except for the Chapter one assignment which you can repeat once.  You may have to check more than one box to get an answer correct.  You can also use CTRL R or the "Try Again" option if you do not answer the question right after 3 tries at which point you will be given a slightly different problem to answer instead.  ARIS due times are often in Easter Standard Time.  You must subtract 3 hours if this is so.  Again, ARIS homework is due before the lecture after the chapter has been covered in class.

If you have technical trouble with the ARIS homework, you must contact the ARIS customer support using the phone number above and see if they cannot resolve the problem.  If you still feel your answers are correct but you are not getting credit for them, then you must print out the problem with your answer and the ARIS note indicating that the answer is incorrect or that there is an error and turn it into me by the due date and time. You must check your grade for an assignment immediately after completing it to see if you have submitted it properly.  You must press submit at the end of the assignment in order to get credit for it.  All technical problems must be resolved by the due date of the assignment.
