Ransom Note

Create a 10" x 10" ransom note. Ransom notes are usually used by kidnappers and criminals who don't want their handwriting to be analyzed.

Your composition can be serious, humorous, cynical, ironic, etc...

Start by writing a single sentence ransom note.It must be a complete sentence.

Use images and type from old magazines, newspaper, direct mail, flyers, etc..., scissors, glue... you know, old school tools.

The goal is for the note to be a beautiful piece of art, as well as a device to carry your message. Consider creating strong textures and colors in the background which support your message.

This is a chance for you to use traditional materials, and give yourself a break from the flatness of the computer. (There is no "undo" with a pair of scissors.)
