If you are in my online classes, you will get an email on the first day of classes with instructions on how to log in to the class.
If your email is not on file with the BC admissions and records office (or if it has changed), you will NOT get an email from me. I access the BC banner system to get your contact information.
It is YOUR responsibility to update this information.
Anyone who has not contacted me or logged in to the campus website by the end of the first week of classes will be dropped from the class.
Class Reading List For Fall 2010:
Note: These books will all be available at the BC bookstore, but I suggest getting them early since we will need them week one of class.
I have created hyper links to each book on Amazon.com, so you can see the exact book you're after and get a good deal at the same time. I will add at least one more book to this list in mid summer, but for now here you go!
1) Title: Navigating America: Information Competency and Research for the Twenty-First Century.
Authors: David Moton and Gloria Dumler.
Publisher: McGraw-Hill.
Year: 2010
ISBN: 978-0-07-338370-5
NOTE: You can buy this as an e-book, which suits our online environment nicely. It is less than half the normal retail cost (only like $27...) if you get a six month subscription to the book, so check it out here: http://www.coursesmart.com/0077321146
It is only $37 as of December 4th if you buy it on Amazon.com.
2) Title: Affluenza: The All Consuming Epidemic
Authors: John DeGraaf, David Wann, and Thomas Naylor.
Publisher: Berrett-Koehler Publishers
Year: 2005
ISBN: 1576753573
