Will Prepare Students For a career in Wildland Firefighting

You will learn both basic and advanced concepts, techniques, skills, and theories on Wildland fire suppression and control.  Included in this program is fire organization, Wildland fire behavior, and fire safety.  This program will contain five semester long core courses, each worth 3 units, and fifteen other elective units in NWCG  courses. The fifteen electives can come from a long list of NWCG courses.
