Student Requirements

To be eligible for the program, a student must have the following criteria.

  • Financially Disadvantage- (must receive some form of financial aid, such as FAFSA, BOGW, or any.)

  • Educationally Disadvantage - attending a low-test scoring high school.

  • Pursing a STEM Field such as:

  • Biology

  • Chemistry

  • Engineering

  • Math

  • Physics

  • and other STEM field ( Nursing Program is not considered a STEM field)

  • for more information about qualifications, please come to the MESA Center for Assistance, located at SE46 in the Science Building.

  • Transfer Counselor for STEM Majors

    MESA has Transfer Specialist who will be able to assist students in terms of transfer, questions, and requirements.

    Schedule

    Mondays and Thursdays at 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

    Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 9:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.

    Fridays 8:00am - 12:00pm

    Please schedule an appointment with a MESA staff at SE 46 to meet with  the STEM Counselor
