We are seeking Bakersfield’s most promising college students to be A+PLUS Scholars. A+PLUS Scholars can receive up to $12,000 in scholarship funds towards their BC education and transfer university!
Special opportunities for A+PLUS Scholars include having a faculty mentor, STEM service learning in the community, and success programs like Chevron’s Week Zero and year-round activities. Applications for the 2013/14 school year will open in early spring semester!
Applicants must demonstrate academic excellence, financial need and be a full-time student preparing to transfer to a 4-year university in a STEM major. See attached application for full eligibility criteria. Application will re-open for in spring for the 2013-14 year—see Rageshwar Kaur Goldberg, the STEM Program Director, in Math-Science 113 for the update.
