Winner and Finalists in the Monthly Creative Writing Contest at the
Bakersfield College Writing Center
Each
month, the Bakersfield College Writing Center produces a prompt to
elicit creative writing work from students. The winners and runners-up
of these monthly contests are published in Roughneck Review.
Our spring issue will include this month's choices, along with
all subsequent winning works and runners-up. This informal,
personal form of expression is too often overlooked in today's academic
climate, so it is our pleasure and our honor to showcase these works.
