Vision 2010

Welcome to our plan for program improvement!  This site is still being developed, but when complete, you'll find our goals, accomplishments, and action plans for the next five years (starting in the school year 2005-06).  Our goal is to provide relevant, effective, and industry-driven training in Electronics and Manufacturing Automation in a learner-centered environment.  If you are not familiar with our Electronics program, you can click here for a brief overview.

The key components of our plan are:

• Curriculum and Instruction Goals
  Our plan for assuring that our programs provide relevant, industry-responsive training that is keyed to industry certification and the needs of local industry. 
   
• Equipment and Facilities Goals
  Our Advanced Manufacturing and Electronic Technology Center plan, as well as our plan for equipment and facilities enhancements to meet our educational goals.
   
• Student Resources and Assistance Goals
  Our plan to ensure students have the needed curriculum resources and academic assistance for success.
   
• Student Outreach and Recruitment Goals
  Our plan for encouraging students to enter the training "pipeline," and to promote our training opportunities throughout local industry.
   
• Student Placement Goals
  Our plan for connecting trained students with local industries, and for internship opportunities as part of the resources we can offer our students.
   
• Staff Professional Development Goals
  Our plan to maintain professional development and stay current with technology.
   
• Financial and Human Resources Goals
  Our budgetary, capital investment, and projected staffing needs based on anticipated program growth.
