Principles of Crop Production - 3

): Fundamental practices for field, vegetable, tree, and vine crops: basic botany, classification of plants, soils, seeding, fertilizers, irrigation, pest control, and harvest plus specific practices for crops grown in the San Joaquin Valley. Students who have previously successfully completed the course may repeat when needed for state mandated pest control license. Students must obtain a special override from the Admissions and Records Office. Recommended: Reading level 5 or 6. Hours: 54 lect, 36 lab. Offered: F. CCS: Occupational Education.
