Media and Society - 3
A study and evaluation of mass media and how it shapes societies and cultures. The focus provides the media consumer with a historical and a theoretical perspective on newspapers, magazines, books, Internet, television, radio, public relations, advertising and motion pictures. Course content discusses media law and ethics, controversial topics as well as topics of current interest. Recommended: English Level 5, Reading Level 5 or 6. Hours: 54 lect/disc.
