The Tech Prep Program, based at Bakersfield College, is an integral part of Career and Technical Education and encourages high school students to continue technical training and education at the college level by offering college credit for high school articulated courses. Tech Prep provides a smooth transition from high school to a certificate, associate degree or transfer at the community college by eliminating duplication of coursework.
